Bleaching - Teeth Whitening

The cosmetic effect of your teeth is greatly dependent on their colour. Even with regular brushing, teeth gradually lose their natural whiteness over time. To remove surface discolouration caused by substances such as nicotine, tea, coffee, cola and red wine, we recommend professional teeth whitening (PTW).

Discolouration inside the tooth, however, which can be caused for example by using certain medications or after root treatment, cannot be removed by whitening. In this situation, we can restore the natural colour of your teeth quickly and effectively by bleaching them.

BriteSmile bleaching - brilliant white in minutes

With the Premium BriteSmile bleaching system, we can gently whiten the teeth by several shades, often in just one hour. A whitening gel is applied to the teeth. Its active ingredient, hydrogen peroxide, is activated with light, releasing reactive oxygen that penetrates the surface of the teeth and removes stains and discolouration even inside the teeth.

How long do the results last?

If you follow our recommendations for dental care after having your teeth whitened, your teeth will be permanently whiter than before. Clean your teeth twice a day, use dental floss and apply a suitable whitening gel from time to time.

What should I be aware of?

  • A consultation with a dentist is essential before every whitening procedure in order to check there are no contraindications.
  • To remove plaque deposits on your teeth, you should have your teeth cleaned professionally before having them whitened with Zoom!.
  • Bleaching will not change the colour of fillings or dentures. Restorative work should therefore be planned in advance.
  • Teeth whitening products are not recommended for children, pregnant women and breastfeeding mothers.
