Perfectly-matched ceramics with CEREC® 3D
Our dental practice has a high-quality CEREC® 3D device for manufacturing full ceramic dental restorations such as inlays, veneers, partial crowns and full crowns. With this high-quality, modern technology, a computer-assisted process is used to create full ceramic dentures often in a single sitting, producing highly precise and aesthetically pleasing results.
Once the appropriate tooth has been prepared, a special camera creates a three-dimensional optical imprint in a matter of seconds. The software detects the initial position and takes care of the construction. The data is then transferred to a separate milling machine, which mills the required shape from a ceramic block in around ten minutes. Consequently, traditional impressions or temporary crowns are usually no longer required.
